Here’s a list of the most popular Reload Locations, along with their procedures. The information was verified by checking Netspend’s Reload Location finder and contacting each company’s customer service department.

7-Eleven

Thousands of 7-Elevens all over the country let you load your Netspend card for a fee. The limit is $500 a day and $1,500 a month. You can load your Netspend card at 7-Eleven in a participating store by visiting https://www.7-eleven.com/locator.  

Advance America

With more than 2,000 locations, Advance America is one of the largest check cashing companies in the U.S. They also load Netspend cards for $2 each, which is one of the cheapest. Albertsons

You can load your Netspend card for up to $1,500 per month at most Albertsons grocery stores. Each transaction costs $3.95. Find an Albertsons near you by visiting https://local.albertsons.com/search.html.

Check ‘N Go

Payday lenders Check’ n Go also serve as Netspend deposit locations. The amount you can add to your Netspend card varies by Check n Go location, but most let you add up to $1,000. CVS Pharmacy

Circle K

Through a partnership with Circle K, Netspend lets cardholders reload their accounts at more than 4,400 gas stations nationwide.

A reload fee of $3.95 applies when you load cash at a Circle K. You can add anything from $20 to $500. The fee increases to $4.95 if you use a debit or credit card. To find your nearest Circle K, use their store locator https://www.circlek.com/store-locator. 

Other stores also help to load Netspend cards at their cash registers. They include Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walmart, Walgreens, Shell, Rite Aid, Cash Express, American Title Loans, Allied Cash Advance, Office Depot, etc.

Loading your Netspend card at the locations mentioned above is almost the same. Here is how you can load your card:  

  • You’ll have to go to a retail store that loads Netspend cards. 
  • Your cashier will ask you how much you want to add. You’ll need an I.D. at some places.
  • You’ll have to swipe your card through the Point of Sale (POS) terminal, or the cashier will do it for you and then enter the reload amount. (You’ll have to provide your card number and the security code.)
  • You can pay with cash or your bank account debit card (credit cards aren’t accepted) for the reload amount plus the fee. 
  • The amount should be loaded to your card immediately. 

What Are Other Ways To Load My Netspend Card? 

Aside from cash reloads in-person, Netspend offers several options for electronic reloads. Specific options work similarly to traditional bank accounts using a card’s routing and account numbers. Below are a few ways to load my Netspend card:

Mobile check loading

Using your smartphone camera, you can take a photo of your paper check, and Netspend will instantly transfer the funds. The app will guide you through the process of taking a picture of the check when you select the “Mobile Check Load” option.

Direct Deposit

You can receive your funds up to two days faster with a direct deposit into your Netspend Card than with a traditional bank account. Simply give your Netspend routing number and prepaid card number to the company paying you to set up direct deposit. With direct deposit, you can deposit checks such as pensions, work paychecks, tax refunds, social security benefits, veterans’ benefits, unemployment benefits, etc.

Through Wire Transfer

With Western Union, you can receive wire transfers to your Netspend account. Transaction fees vary based on the type of transaction and are calculated only after the transaction is completed. On some Netspend cards, wire transfers are not available. Check your account to see if you have access to the feature.

Here’s how to wire money directly to your Netspend card:

  • A valid government-issued photo I.D. is required (driver’s license, passport, state I.D., military I.D.) when visiting a Western Union agent location.
  • To send money, complete the “To Send Money” form and present it to the agent with the transfer amount plus the applicable fees.
  • A wire transfer will usually result in funds being added to your Card Account within 10 minutes.

Through Bank transfer

With Your Netspend Card, you can top up funds via your savings or checking account if your bank allows It. There may be a fee charged by the bank itself as part of the transfer process.

Through PayPal

If you link your Netspend card to your PayPal account, you can also add money to it. 

So when you have linked both of your accounts, go to PayPal and click on “Transfer Money.” 

By clicking “Transfer to Your Bank,” you can select your Netspend card. Follow the rest of the instructions. You may be charged a fee if you transfer funds from your PayPal account.

You can see from the chart above that many of the Netspend reload locations charge transaction fees. There are some places that load Netspend cards for free. Check n Go, and Allied America are two of them. In addition, Advance America charges only $2 to load your card. 

Does Dollar General Accept Netspend?

Yes, you can load your NetSpend Card at any Dollar General store. Anyone with a Netspend card can deposit cash or checks at a Dollar General location, and they send an alert when the transaction’s complete. You can reload NetSpend cash for as little as zero cents or as much as $3.95, depending on where you are. You can find the most cost-effective reloading location with NetSpend’s location finder.

What’s The Maximum Amount I Can Reload On My Netspend Card?

If you use Direct Deposit Daily, you can load up to $7,500, and 2,500 dollars through Netspend reload locations. There’s a limit of $15,000 per month.
