Does Dave Bank Work With Zelle

Dave is a Fintech company, not a bank, that offers checking accounts through Evolve Bank & Trust. There’s a 2-day early deposit feature and a popular cash advance feature that can be up to $250 without a fee or interest. On the other hand, Zelle supports instant transfers between U.S. bank accounts using email ids or mobile numbers. This digital Wallet works with many U.S. banks and financial organizations to make a convenient money transfer system.

This financial application is a service that lets you use your Dave Card to make payments where another company accepts the Wallet. The Dave Card may not be accepted at all places where the Wallet is accepted, and the Dave Card may not be eligible for all the features. Adding or removing your Dave Card from your Wallet is easy. Just follow the instructions. Adding a Dave Card to a Wallet or using a Dave Card in a Wallet doesn’t cost you anything extra. Now the question is whether Dave Bank work with the Zelle app? Here I will try to solve your issue anyhow.

Does Dave Bank Work With Zelle App?

Dave does not work with Zelle, and Dave’s banking partner “Evolve Bank & Trust” is not on the list of Zelle Network banks. Those banks that don’t appear on the Zelle network have an alternative option to download and use the Zelle App. The bank’s debit card needs to be added in Zelle by selecting “Don’t see your bank” when searching for the bank. In this way, many users can benefit from instant transfers without directly connecting their bank accounts to Zelle. Even if you link your Dave debit card to Zelle, it seems Dave isn’t ready to accept instant transfers from Zelle or the Cash App.

You can use Zelle with Dave Bank by following these steps:

  • First, Download and Install the Zelle App on your phone and start using it. Don’t forget to use the latest version of the app.
  • Create your Zelle account using your U.S. phone number
  • Read the Terms of Use and accept it if there is no issue with you.
  • You’ll be directed to search for your bank. You can search by typing “Dave,” but you will not find it as Zelle doesn’t work with Dave bank . But don’t worry, you will find the “Don’t See Bank” option to add it. So tap this option.
  • Now you need to enter your email address to continue. Enter the active email address you want to use with Zelle.
  • Next, the option should ask for your debit card information. Enter the details of your Dave debit card number, such as the card number and ZIP code.

Your Dave bank account should be linked to your U.S. mobile number or email if you’ve registered successfully. You can now send and receive money from Zelle users with your registered mobile number. You can test the Transfer with a small amount and see if it works. There doesn’t seem to be a way to use Dave with Zelle instant transfer. When connecting a fintech bank to Zelle, there are still issues.

What Are The Other Ways To Transfer Money With Dave Bank?

The Dave Bank account still lets you withdraw money other than Zelle. Here are some alternatives:

Transfers using Apple Pay, Google Pay, and debit cards:

Using an Apple Pay or Google Pay account linked to a debit card associated with a Dave Bank account, you can transfer funds from that bank account to the Mobile App. In some cases, you may be able to use a debit card that isn’t linked to an Apple Pay or Google Account. However, it may not be available at all times. You can access Dave Spending Account funds faster with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a debit card than with an ACH transfer. Each transaction for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Debit Card Transfers costs 1% of the amount transferred.

Transfers between linked bank accounts

You can link another bank account to your Dave Spending Account. You can transfer funds between the connected bank account and Dave Spending Account using the Dave Spending App. The linked account belongs to you; you can authorize all charges and debts. But remember that you can only link a deposit account, like a checking, savings, or money market account.

Dave’s virtual card

Your Dave Spending Account will also come with a virtual card (“Virtual Dave Card”) with a 16-digit number, a 3-digit CVV number, and an expiration date. You can manage your Virtual Dave Card through the Mobile App, which is separate from your physical Dave Card. In the same way as your physical Dave Card, the Virtual Dave Card lets you make card-not-present transactions anywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted. As with your physical Dave Card, the Virtual Dave Card can also be added to a digital wallet.

ACH Transfer

You can also transfer money by ACH, the standard way to move money between bank accounts. Transferring money by ACH takes 1-3 business days. If you have an external bank account, you can transfer money to Dave Spending. You’ll need Dave’s routing number and account number for this.
